Part Time Coffee Cup Assistant

Café, Events & Hospitality Business

We are looking for part timer coffee cup assistant to join our growing café and events business. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, helping to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers and always providing a high standard of customer service.

Weekend working is a requirement of this role.

Please note that this position is open to candidates aged 18 and over only. The role involves keyholder duties, including opening and securing the premises, as well as serving alcoholic drinks in accordance with licensing requirements. 

About the Role

You will be working with our Golf Club Duty Manager to by delivering excellent customer service to all.

We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the confidence to support and guide colleagues when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing an excellent standard of Customer service for both members and visitors to the golf club
  • Open and closing duties (shift dependant)
  • Provide a friendly yet professional greeting to all our customers and represent the Golf Club and its ethos.
  • Take golf bookings over the phone and face to face
  • Washing up and clearing tables
  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Collecting food from the Kitchen and serving to our customers  
  • Disposal of food waste 
  • Keeping the work area clean and tidy
  • Assisting in processing of laundry
  • Restocking of items in the coffee cup
  • Taking telephone queries and managing in the appropriate way
  • Support events outside of normal working hours
  • Checking deliveries

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing role
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A proactive, responsible and reliable approach to work
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
