Baz's Captains Day 2026

We would love to see as many members and visitors as possible taking part in this year’s Captain’s Day on 1st August, supporting the fantastic East Anglian Air Ambulance 🚁

It’s set to be a brilliant, fun-filled day – and visitors are very welcome, so do invite friends and family along!

🏌️‍♂️ The Plan for the Day:

• 8:00am – 8:30am: Arrival & check-in (tea & coffee)
• 9:00am: 9-hole shotgun start (front & back 9 – fun competition)
• 11:00am – 12:15pm: Lunch (sandwich, crisps, sausage roll & cupcake)
• Afternoon: 18-hole shotgun Stableford competition
• After golf: BBQ, prizes & celebrations

Plus… plenty of extra fun along the way!

🎯 Extras to Look Forward To:

• Mini fun competitions throughout the day
• Putting challenge on your way to the 13th tee – with the chance to win a TV
• Raffle – donations very gratefully received (please leave with the office team)

Juniors:

We’ll be running a junior competition during the lunch break, and it would be great to see lots of younger members getting involved.

• Entry: £2 (half to charity, half to the winner)
• A small trophy up for grabs 🏆

Older juniors are, of course, very welcome to take part in the main event too.
